The new 2,000-square-foot storefront will be housed next door to Chavis’ catering company operations. There will be 10 bar seats and 50 table seats open Wednesday-Friday from 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m., according to a liquor license application recently filed with the city.

Since 2008 Pretti Plates has provided recreated Southern dishes for catering events ranging from corporate and special events to weddings, all while meeting dietary restriction accommodations as needed. Its catering goals are to take the stress out of event planning through its services.

“We fully understand how planning your next event can be stressful,” the company says on its website. “We know you’d rather enjoy that day than get bogged down with all the intricate details. That’s why it’s important to hire an experienced company who will manage your event seamlessly.”

Its menu options include but are not limited to blackened salmon, honey garlic jerk chicken and curry rice. You can buy their signature spice blends—including a premium seafood blend, veggie blend and house blend—on their website.
