Burtons Grill & Bar will be located in Buckhead at 3330 Piedmont Rd NE. The space will be 5,700 square feet, according to a recent building permit application with the City of Atlanta. Patio dining is planned for the restaurant. The expected cost of construction is $1,450,000, according to the application.

What Now Atlanta reported last year that the brand had an eye on expanding to the Peach State, but that a specific location had not been identified yet.

Burtons Grill & Bar first opened in 2005 and now has locations in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Connecticut, Maryland, New Hampshire, Virginia and Massachusetts. The restaurant prides itself on being allergen-friendly, with a range of gluten-free options and strict allergy protocols. The New England-inspired menu includes seafood, meat and vegetables.

The restaurant will be part of the Buckhead Landing shopping complex being redeveloped by Regency Centers. Previously uncovered tenants for the complex include Golf Galaxy and Waxing the City. The center will be anchored by a Publix.

Burtons Grill & Bar is planned for the space next to the Piu Bello Italian restaurant. According to a site map, several tenant spaces at Buckhead Landing are still available, ranging from 1,800 to more than 20,000 square feet.

Last summer, Burtons Grill & Bar opened at another Regency Centers-driven shopping center, Carytown Exchange in Virginia.
