According to a building permit application, the waxing studio is planned for 3330 Piedmont Road in suite 25 of the Buckhead Landing commercial complex, in between two tenant spaces that remain to be filled.

Waxing the City is a franchise that offers facial and body waxing services. There are currently more than 130 locations in the U.S., including existing Georgia ones in West Atlanta at 2250 Marietta Blvd NW and Alpharetta at 5250 Windward Parkway.

Kasib Jarvis is listed as the owner of the new Piedmont Road location. Jarvis was part of the several multi-unit franchise agreements that Waxing the City announced earlier this year, when it was stated that Jarvis would own and operate three upcoming locations in Atlanta. Jarvis could not immediately be reached for comment.

Construction documents show plans for six treatment rooms. The space will get new walls, finishes, fixtures and paint.

Publix will anchor the Buckhead complex that is being developed by Regency Centers. According to a site map, also planned for the center is Burtons Grill & Bar, a Boston restaurant whose leadership expressed plans earlier this year to expand to Atlanta. Starbucks and Binders Art Supplies and Frames are among the existing tenants at the center.
