Osteria di Mare will be situated in space previously occupied by The Double Eagle, at 5055 Peachtree Parkway, in the Wellington Center shopping center.

Wellington Center sits adjacent Ingles Center where Giovanni’s Taqueria del Mar is housed.

The restaurant, an Italian-style steak and seafood joint, is expected to open October 1, Giovanni late-Monday in an email told What Now Atlanta.

The restaurant via its website is currently accepting applications for employment.

Osteria di Mare will join a handful of fast-casual concepts in the Wellington Center like Ten Bistro and Lon U.

Wait, steak AND seafood? No way. I love the combination, but when I read about steak and seafood Italian-style I can’t help getting confused.
I actually know most locan steakhouses and seafood restaurants
So, this new venue looks a bit bizzare. But Andres Giovanni knows what he’s doing, so I’m actually looking forward to seeing what comes out of this Osteria di Mare.

I have been a customer of Taqueria del Mar for many years and can honestly say that I have never had a bad or even a so-so meal there. If Andrew can bring the same game to his new restaurant, I’m sure it will be very successful.

Best wishes to you!
