Getting to the opening day has been several years in the making and Degel was originally aiming for a late-2020 debut for the restaurant, at 5224 Peachtree Pkwy Ste 920.

“This American grill gets William Jack Degel’s food and decor makeover featuring scratch-made appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and specializing in steak,” a company spokesperson told What Now Atlanta in an email this week. “Uncle Jack’s Meat House has the look and feel of a 1900s warehouse in New York’s famous Meatpacking District, complete with aged cement, raw vintage steel, subway tile, meat hooks, custom wallpaper featuring archival butcher photos, with flying pigs and steer heads mounted on the walls.”

Elements of the space include tufted and red vinyl seating, marble bar tops with old school bar-styling mixed in, and outdoor fire pit lounge areas.

The Peachtree Corners eatery is Degel’s third restaurant he’s opened under the “Meat House” concept and the third restaurant he has opened in Georgia, with plans to expand even more throughout the state.

Existing Uncle Jack’s Meat House restaurants are situated in Duluth — the original location — and a second in Roswell. Lawrenceville’s SouthLawn development downtown will get an outpost next, likely by late-2021. Construction on the Lawrenceville outpost is expected to kick off in mid-to-late March.
