After 10 years in business and at the expiration of its lease, Alayna Hoang is relocating her Nouvelle Nail Spa down the street to keep up with growing demand.
Hoang, the sister to Atlanta restaruantuer Guy Wong, has secured another 10-year lease for the nail spa, but this time in Westside Provisions District.
The new space is situated between West Egg and Pure Barre.
Hoang grew up apprenticing at her Grandmother’s salon while Wong took to the family’s restaurant business.
“We had a 10-year lease and decided not to renew,” Hoang Monday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.
“Parking has become an issue especially as our client base has grown. It just makes sense to move into another development that has more parking and visibility.”
Hoang late last week filed plans with the City of Atlanta for Nouvelle Nail Spa’s buildout but “the City is a little delayed so it might take some time to review.”
Set to open August 2018—potentially sooner pending the permitting process—the new space is getting a fresh but similar look; think wood elements and exposed brick with a sleek and modern feel.
The existing location, at 1011B Marietta St. NW, will remain open until the new spot is ready.
“We’re going to try to make it as smooth of a transition as possible.”
