A new Wingstop is in the works south of Atlanta.
The wings franchise will be located at 1501 GA-16 in a space formerly occupied by Your Pie Pizza. The space is approximately 1,700 square feet, according to construction documents. The documents show plans for an ordering counter, a seating area and restrooms.
Wingstop began in Garland, Texas, in 1994 and has since grown to more than 2,000 locations. The brand started franchising in 1997.
The menu includes classic and boneless wings in 11 signature flavors, crispy tenders, chicken sandwiches, fries, and dips like ranch, honey mustard and blue cheese.
The owner of the new Griffin location is listed as GSRS WA GA II Inc., which was created in Georgia in February 2023, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office. An address associated with the company is the address for the Wingstop at 4060 Peachtree Road in Brookhaven.
