A new hair salon is underway in Atlanta. According to a building permit application, a salon owned by Charlise Milam of Hair Loft Atlanta is planned for 240 Grant Street SE.
Hair Loft Atlanta is located at 898 Oak Street SW. Milam could not immediately be reached for comment, but a manager at the existing salon told What Now Atlanta that there is no specific opening date available to announce yet about the new salon.
According to the building permit application, the space is 3,448 square feet and will include a private room for VIP services. The salon appears to be a new retail tenant at the Marchon Apartments, a luxury apartment complex at 240 Grant Street SE with ground-floor commercial space. The Oakland-area apartment community is located near the King Memorial MARTA station.
