It’s a new venture from Destiny and Anthony Hampton, the owners of Fresh Squeezed Juice Bar, located at Phipps Plaza. Fresh Squeezed Juice Bar first began in 2020 as a way to provide a healthy, immune-boosting dining option in the form of smoothies, juices, acai bowls and wellness shots.

Expected to open spring 2024, Fresh Squeezed Mini Bar alongside the BeltLine’s Westside Connector Trail will serve smoothie bowls and fresh juices during the day, as well as tapas and cold-pressed cocktails during the evening and at brunch on the weekends. The cocktails will contain agave instead of sweetener. New menu items will include jackfruit nachos, tofu curry, sweet potato biscuits, lobster pasta and other dishes.

“I’ve grown up in Atlanta and have seen how much the city has transformed,” Destiny Hampton said in a press release. “The Westside in particular is incredibly diverse and inclusive, so we knew our next location would thrive at Echo Street West. We’re all about family here, and we can’t wait to welcome the community into ours through fresh juices and cold-pressed cocktails.”

The space is 1,917 square feet and will have an outdoor patio facing the BeltLine.

Other food concepts among the first announced for Echo Street West are El Gordo Taqueria by Fuego Tortilla and Le Macaron.

Echo Street West is a 19-acre, mixed-use community in Atlanta’s Westside located next to the Atlanta BeltLine’s Westside Connector Trail. The initial development of the multi-phase project consists of 300,000 square feet of creative office space, 50,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 292 multifamily units, an events venue, artist colony and 3.4 acres of outdoor entertainment and greenspace, including Westside Motor Lounge.

“We are curating a welcoming environment on Atlanta’s Westside by bringing in diverse shop and restaurant owners and unique offerings,” Tony Bartlett, SVP at Lincoln Property Company, said in the press release. “We’re encouraged by the huge strides the project has made in the past year – from the openings of Westside Motor Lounge and VIBE, to the lease-up of Guardian Studios and the enormous response to Guardian Works – and we look forward to making more exciting retail announcements soon.”
