The first location of the retail optical center is slated to open Sept. 21 in Morrow, GA.
My Eyelab, a retail optical center franchise based in Florida, Wednesday announced the signing of an 18-location, multi-unit franchise deal to expand operations across the Atlanta metro area.
The first of the 18 planned My Eyelab outposts is slated to open September 21, 2017 in Morrow, GA, at 6735 Jonesboro Road.
Leading the Atlanta expansion are co-owners and principals Mehboob Panjwani and Shiraz Attawala.
Panjwani brings more than 15 years of retail and franchise expertise from his time with Dunkin Donuts and Marcos Pizza, along with three decades in accounting and finance.
Attawala has experience maintaining financials and operations for wholesale and retail jewelry stores, convenience stores-warehouse, and petroleum providers.
Other members of the team include Zain Attawala and Sagar Panjwani.
“When we began to investigate franchise opportunities, we determined that My Eyelab’s strategic vision aligned well with our desire for a scalable and sustainable business model,” Zain Attawala said.
“The multi-unit agreement, aided by My Eyelab’s strategic training and support, will allow us to provide consistent service, quality eyeglasses and expert eye care services to the people of Greater Atlanta.”
Vision Precision Holdings, the parent company of My Eyelab and Stanton Optical, recently earned recognition as the 18th largest optical retailer in the U.S. by Vision Monday, currently operating 75 corporate locations with 13 more expected to open by the end of 2017.
“The addition of Zain and Sagar to the My Eyelab team represents a major step for the franchise brand, with Atlanta being the beneficiary of our one-of-kind services,” Daniel Stanton, CEO and co-founder of My Eyelab, said in the announcement.
“Between our intelligent, technology-based approach to eye care, and our dedication to continuous innovation, the My Eyelab optical business model is unlike any other.”
