UPDATE (Sept. 4, 2018): Revelator’s The Mourning Dove Cafe Quietly Closes After Less Than a Year
Revelator’s The Mourning Dove is now open in Buckhead.
The coffee shop debuted Saturday morning in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, a spokesperson for the ritzy Buckhead mixed-use development in an email told What Now Atlanta.
“[The Mourning Dove] just passed final inspections this week,” the spokesperson said. “Am being told they’ll just be serving coffee and light food this weekend with the full menu beginning Monday.”
The Mourning Dove replaces the short-lived Corso Coffee, at 3065 Peachtree Road NE #210.
The coffee program will be similar to other Revelator locations with the addition of smoothies. A cocktail menu and a small beer and wine list will be available with the approval of a liquor license.
Once through the “soft-opening,” the coffee shop will be open 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday through Sunday.
