Corso Coffee in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta will close after service Monday and Alabama-based Revelator Coffee Company will open a new concept in its place later this year.

“We can confirm that Corso will be closing today,” a spokesperson for the Buckhead mixed-use development in an email Tuesday told What Now Atlanta (WNA).

“We wish them the best and respect their business decision. We are looking forward to welcoming another exciting concept in its place, which will be an exclusive new venture from Revelator Coffee Company. We will share details once they are finalized.”

Meredith Singer, director of Marketing for Revelator, confirmed the news in an email to WNA Tuesday.

Called The Mourning Dove, Revelator’s new concept will offer a “very similar coffee program” to what is offered at its coffee shops, in addition to alcohol and eats.

Corso Coffee first opened in The Shops Buckhead December 2014.

The concept is owned by New York City-based LDV Hospitality which has three businesses at the mixed-use development: American Cut, The Regent Cocktail Club, and Dolce Italian.

The Mourning Dove is expected to debut October 2017.
