Related Development, LLC is proposing plans to erect its newest mixed-use in Chamblee, at 5154 and 5180 Peachtree Boulevard, and 3462 Sexton Woods Drive, according to a rezoning application submitted late last week. It would be called Manor Chamblee and would offer 382 apartments anchored by 10,000 square feet of commercial space designated for restaurant use — including a “creative co-working” facility with a coffee bar and lounge. There would be a parking structure as part of the 5-acre development.

Miami-based Related would build Manor Chamblee in place of a few existing retailers: an auction gallery, rug store, and floral supply company. It is designed by Dwell Design Studio and is expected to go before the Chamblee Design Review Board on December 30, and subsequently the City Council next month. Competition on Manor Chamblee would be in 2023.
“Applicant’s development team approached the design with particular attention to visual appeal, pedestrian connectivity, streetscape improvements, and impact on surrounding properties,” according to the filing. The residential portion of the development — across its two buildings — would be attached to a central parking garage. Residential amenities would include a clubhouse, fitness center, pool courtyard, amenity courtyard, and a lawn with a dog park.
