Atlanta institution Henri’s Bakery and Deli is opening a stall in Marietta Square Market, at 68 N. Marietta Parkway N.W., according to a press release from the 90-year-old company Friday. It will be the fourth location for the brand and is expected to open this fall. Henri’s has been teasing the news in a social media campaign, posting in August it had “big news” to share and encouraging its followers to guess what the news might be.
Anthony DiNardo, the namesake founder’s great-grandson, is the owner of Henri’s along with his sisters Kim McBain and Ashlyn DiNardo.
“Our mission speaks to inspiring the community,” DiNardo said in the release. “We believe Marietta Square Market provides just that. We want grandparents, parents, and kids to come to Henri’s to create experiences and memories together. We are thrilled that Henri’s will be a place where the Marietta community can gather for a sandwich, cup of coffee, or a sweet treat. We look forward to being a part of the fabric that makes Marietta such a great community.”
Henri’s will offer an assortment of its most popular bakery items out of Marietta Square Market such as cookies, pastries, and cakes. Deli selections will include sandwiches, soups, and salads. Henri’s most popular menu items, like Po’boys, turkey sandwiches, shortbread cookies, eclairs, and birthday cakes, will also be available at the new location when it opens later this year.
The original Buckhead Henri’s since relocated to 56 E. Andrews Square. Other locations include Sandy Springs and West Midtown, and now, an “anchor” space inside Marietta Square Market. Along with Henri’s, Siete Tacos and Tequila and The Original Hotdog Factory are also slated to be opening within the coming weeks.
