Okay, so not literally tomorrow. According to a press release, Gocha’s Tapas Bar, which will occupy 1,500 interior square-feet, not to mention 2,100 square feet of patio space in the new Publix Shopping Center, is expected to open in April 2022.

When it does, you can expect to indulge in plates like shishito peppers, impossible sliders, stuffed crab mushrooms, fried green tomatoes with crab salad, cauliflower tacos, and lobster rolls. Delicious cocktails and the occasion live DJ and band are also on the menu.

The food truck, meanwhile, already on the go, will carry Breakfast Bar favorites like Shrimp & Grits, “Krunch-Tastic” French Toast, “Gocha’s Impossible Burger,” Chicken & Waffles and “Better Than Yo Momma” Biscuits, as well as an array of new sandwiches, bowls, and other grab-and-go items. You’ll be able to spot the truck by its familiar logo and the likeness of Hawkins herself.

“We are so excited to be expanding our footprint in the restaurant industry by creating a tapas bar and making Gocha’s Breakfast Bar mobile,” Hawkins said in the release. “With the tapas bar, we wanted to open a space where locals and visitors to the community can get together, socialize and enjoy themselves  – with the food truck, we are looking forward to creating an additional avenue for to-go order and reducing the wait time at our Cascade location, which will enhance our overall in-house dining experience.”

Hawkins comes with almost 30 years of beauty industry experience and rose to fame as a hairstylist for celebrities like Kandi Burruss, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Drake and Serena Williams.
