According to a recent building permit application filed with the City of Atlanta, the coffee shop is underway at 1105 W Peachtree Street NE.

It was first announced in 2021 that the coffee company had plans to expand to Atlanta. This will be the first location in the Southeast.

For Five Coffee Roasters was founded by Stefanos Vouvoudakis and Tom Tsiplakos in 2010 in Queens, New York. The company has garnered fans at locations in New York, Virginia, Washington D.C., Chicago and Massachusetts.

The Atlanta location of For Five Coffee Roasters is planned for a mixed-use development by Selig Enterprises that was completed in 2021. The site is located in the heart of Midtown.

The scope of the work includes new partitions, as well as mechanical, lighting, gas and plumbing work. The space will be 2,106 square feet, according to the building permit application.

It’s not clear when the coffee shop will be open for business. The company’s website says the Atlanta outpost is “Coming Soon.”

The founders could not immediately be reached for comment.
