Owned and operated by Sam Eidus, the new Firewall Food Stop is situated in Atlanta’s Westview neighborhood, at 1546 Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard SW.

The 300-square foot restaurant will be take-out only and will be open Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

During the week the space will act as a prep kitchen to service the company’s food truck operation which can be booked for catering Tuesday through Sunday.

“After moving to the neighborhood two years ago I was originally just looking to build a prep kitchen for the food truck,” Eidus said in a press release Wednesday.

“But after living in this cool historic neighborhood and witnessing it’s evolution, I knew the space needed to be about Westview first and foremost. We’re thrilled to be part of The Westview Flats commercial district where small businesses are almost exclusively resident owned and operated, and to be bringing something new and unique to Southwest Atlanta.”

Build-your-own pizzas and rotating specialty pies will be cooked in a Stefano Ferrara wood-fired oven.

Eidus has also created a selection of sandwiches and hummus bowls inspired by his New Jersey roots.
