Founder Tayler Walker is set to bring the sweets shop to a former restaurant space, at 415 Memorial Dr SE Ste B, a building permit application outlines. Walker is aiming for a mid-July 2022 opening “at the latest,” the restaurateur told What Now Atlanta Thursday.
“Cereal and Cream aims to provide a superior ice cream treat experience whether at our future location or on our truck,” Walker said. “Customers are able to be creative, whether trying one of our pre-mixes or creating their own dessert. Our pre-mixes are named for different areas of Atlanta as I, personally, grew up on the Eastside of Atlanta.”
Building out the new Cereal and Cream is expected to cost $50,000, according to the official filing. The store is going to be completely pink and provide an “luxury experience for the customer outside of having an amazing cereal-infused ice cream dessert,” according to Walker.
“One of our best-sellers is our Downtown which consists of Frosted Flakes, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, French Toast Crunch, whipped cream, and caramel sauce,” Walker said. “We have over 55 different cereals, candies, and other mix-ins currently on our menu, and are constantly adding more. Atlanta is near and dear to our heart, and we are excited to be opening our location.”
