Atlanta-based Farm Burger is moving forward with plans to open in Grant Park.

The burger joint this week filed a permit application with City of Atlanta to buildout suite B-2 in The George for the new location.

“Farm Burger was born in Atlanta, and we’re looking forward to joining such an exciting development between two of the city’s most beloved neighborhoods: Grant Park and Old Fourth Ward,” George Frangos, co-founder of Farm Burger, said when the project was first announced earlier this year.

An estimated $90,000 could be spent building out the 1,668-square-foot Farm Burger in the Grant Park mid-rise apartment complex, according to the permit filing.

That figure includes a patio.

The restaurant, at 271 Memorial Drive, sits adjacent the soon-to-open Your Pie.

A third ground-level tenant, a “high-end bottle shop,” will be situated in a 4,500-square-foot corner space in The George, shown in the site plan below as “signed leased.”

Colliers International, the firm leasing the project, did not immediately return What Now Atlanta’s request for comment regarding the bottle shop.

The George, an Urban Realty Partners project with 130 apartments and 11,500 square feet of retail, is now leasing.
