The popular Atlanta coffee spot will occupy 1,500 square feet, plus 500 square feet of patio space, according to a press release. The space was previously occupied by Full Commission, which closed earlier this year.

This will be PERC Coffee’s fourth location. The company also has locations in East Lake, Virginia Highland and Savannah. Another one is underway in Tucker.

The menus include a variety of specialty and seasonal coffee drinks, including its signature Good Times Latte with lavender, vanilla and habanero sugar. They also serve breakfast sandwiches, granola bowls and waffles, with the chance for more food possibilities on the horizon thanks to the full kitchen at the new location.

“We’re hopeful that we can put out some good coffee and good vibes in the area once we get opened,” Philip Brown, owner, founder and CEO of PERC Coffee, told What Now Atlanta. “We’re excited about being a part of the community at Grant Park. And I’m really excited about how the space is shaping up.”

As they look toward future growth, Amber Foreman, PERC Coffee retail manager, said they are primarily focused on expanding in and around metro Atlanta.

“The coffee scene here has grown a lot in the last handful of years,” she told What Now Atlanta. “There’s still pockets and neighborhoods that feel like they do still have a need for a good neighborhood coffee shop where people can come together and start their day, communities and neighborhoods that we feel connected to.”

Brown and Foreman said they enjoyed customizing the Grant Park space and giving it that vibrant PERC Coffee flair.

“One of the things as we’re turning our attention and doing the retail projects is finding developers who are awesome to work with, like Larkin,” Brown said. “That’s been cool. We’re excited to see what the next thing is for us.”

Paces Properties President and CEO David Cochran said PERC Coffee was a great fit for the property because they were looking for an established coffee business that still had an entrepreneurial spirit and a bit of edge. He told What Now Atlanta the changes made to the space were mostly cosmetic and involved fixing some layout issues.

A Latin-inspired restaurant called Birdcage will also be joining the property, as What Now Atlanta previously reported.

Larkin on Memorial is a 63,000 square foot mixed-use development by Paces Properties. Larkin on Memorial is now 88% leased, according to the press release. There is one 2,500 square foot space (plus 500 square feet of patio space) available for an additional full-service restaurant tenant, as well as two in-line retail spaces available. The restaurant space was previously occupied by Woodward and Park, which closed earlier this year.

Cochran told What Now Atlanta that something in the health and wellness realm would be a nice possible addition to one of the retail spaces.
