A grand opening celebration was held Jan. 12, 2024, for the coffee shop located at 2316 Main Street in Tucker.

PERC Coffee Director of Retail Amber Foreman told What Now Atlanta the amount of support was overwhelming, and they’re excited to be open in the area.

“Tucker’s been doing a ton of downtown revitalization over the last few years,” she said. “They built this full walk-and-bike path, right next to our building. That was huge for us. They’re working on an amphitheater to do big festivals directly behind our building. They’re trying to make some awesome changes for the community, and we wanted to be a part of it.”

The Tucker location is one of PERC’s non-kitchen shops, but hungry visitors need not fret. PERC recently revamped the food menu for their non-kitchen locations, rolling it out at the Virginia-Highland shop and bringing it to the new outpost in Tucker. The menu includes bagel sandwiches (featuring a new one called The Veg), a granola bowl, and the fan-favorite Crunchwrap.

PERC’s signature drinks are also on the menu, like the Good Times Latte (espresso, milk, lavender-vanilla and habanero sugar).

As for the aesthetic, fans will recognize the brand’s signature candy-esque colors, including a bright green countertop and sunshine-yellow tables.

“We worked with local architects on the buildout and design,” Foreman said. “We wanted to guide them to a couple familiar brand colors, but use them in different way.”

One of the most notable features of the space is an indoor and outdoor patio, with accordion windows that open up to let fresh air and light into the patio space. The patio has a heater and fans to suit any weather conditions.

“That’s something we were stoked to try,” Foreman said. “It turned out great.”

The Tucker shop is open daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

PERC Coffee began roasting in 2010 in Savannah before expanding to metro Atlanta with locations in East Lake, Virginia-Highland, Grant Park and now Tucker. Next up is a location near Chastain Park, expected to open in the next few months.
