Alta Porter on Peachtree, at 3930 Peachtree Rd, will soon be home to an Egg Harbor Café.
The breakfast, brunch and lunch café chain, which currently operates four Georgia locations according to its website, recently inked a lease for the Brookhaven location, leasing reps involved in the transaction confirmed Monday with What Now Atlanta. Egg Harbor Café President Matt Farrell did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Egg Harbor Café was funded in Hinsdale, IL in December 1985 and now operates 21 locations in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Georgia — Alpharetta, Buckhead, Johns Creek, and Sandy Springs.
“We specialize in top quality food, always carefully sourced and often all-natural or organic,” the restaurant’s website notes. “Whether in the mood for a traditional breakfast, a variation on the original, or a unique Egg Harbor Café creation, our guests have an extensive selection of breakfast and lunch creations, and something is always sure to please.”
Egg Harbor Café serves cage-free eggs that are 100 percent certified humane, according to its website. Its fair trade coffee is sourced from the “finest small family growers.”
Alta Porter, the development that will house Egg Harbor, is a new apartment community with one-, two-, and three-bedroom units alongside ground-level retail. It was announced in 2022 that C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar would open this year at the property.
