“West Midtown is one of the most dynamic and exciting submarkets in the Southeast,” Andy Gloor, CEO of Sterling Bay, said in a press release. “As Atlanta continues to grow and further solidify its position as the business capital of the region, developments like 1050 Brickworks offer exactly the type of office space needed to attract today’s most forward-thinking companies. Together with Asana Partners, we look forward to delivering a project that sets a new standard for Class A modern office product in the Atlanta market.”
Located at the corner of West Marietta Street and Brady Avenue, the 14-story development will will anchor Asana Partners’ adjacent Brickworks redevelopment, which includes an additional 166,000 square feet of dining, service, and retail amenities.
“1050 Brickworks will showcase the evolution of highly-amenitized, neighborhood centric office space and establish Brickworks as the primary mixed-use destination in West Midtown,” Terry Brown, managing partner of Asana Partners, said. “Great walkability with convenient access to a growing selection of dining, shopping, service, and residential options add to the appeal of this location. We’re excited to be expanding our relationship with Sterling Bay.”
Designed by HKS, 1050 Brickworks will take inspiration from “the roots of West Midtown while offering users a differentiated office experience” that will include access to a fitness center, conference space, a lounge and bar, functional outdoor workspaces, private tenant terraces, and a private library.
Additionally, the project will feature a 549-stall parking structure, 14,200 square feet of street level retail, 12,000 square feet of amenity space, and a 10,200 square-foot outdoor deck overlooking the Atlanta skyline.
Bryan Heller, Peter McGuone, and Parker Welton of CBRE will lead leasing activities at the property. Construction of 1050 Brickworks is scheduled to begin in fall 2022.
