“Little 5 is temporarily closed due to a fire on May 23, 2013,” the restaurant posted to its website at the time of the accident. “We hope to be open by the end of 2014.”

Corner Tavern has “been waiting on the insurance companies to settle,” Melanie Rabb, Corner Tavern co-owner, told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email this week.

An estimated $350,000 will be spent rebuilding the Corner Tavern.

Although “Little 5 Corner Tavern will rise again,” the date of the tavern’s triumphant return has not been confirmed.
