Culture Foods Market is a specialty grocery store that showcases African and Caribbean foods, including produce, spices, meats and seafood, as well as decor and wellness products. Culture Foods Market first opened in February 2022 at its existing store in Johns Creek at 11130 State Bridge Road.

It’s not yet clear when the new store will be open, but according to the permit application, the Georgia Department of Agriculture inspection as well as a city safety inspection have been conducted and passed. There will be no on-site cooking and no butcher station, according to the application.

The store would be going into a retail center that also includes Slay Hair Studios, Asie Nail Salon and Rejuvenations Barber Shop.

The owners could not immediately be reached for comment about the store.
