Bennett’s Market and Deli Expanding To Old Fourth Ward

The quick-service eatery and neighborhood market is headed for the SPX Alley development in Old Fourth Ward later this year.

SPX Alley is part of Studioplex’s second phase.

Bennett’s Market is currently is in permitting with the City to build out the new storefront, at 661 Auburn Avenue NE.

Construction has not yet begun.

“After being open for five and a half years in Grant Park, we are very excited to be expanding to a second location on the Beltline,” Victoria Bennett, the company’s co-owner confirmed in an email to What Now Atlanta.

Bennett owns the market and deli alongside Claire Pearson.

“We anticipate greater demand for grocery items and will continue to offer high quality products with a focus on local and small business when possible,” Bennett said.

Slated to open late-June, early-July 2019, the new Bennett’s will offer “essential grocery, high quality deli meats and cheese, fresh in-house prepared foods for takeaway, craft beer, unique wines, fresh breads and lots of locally sourced food items.”

The company will join an existing lineup of tenants including Pour Taproom, Freedom Barber Co., Nina and Rafi, and Guac Y Margys.

Bennett’s Market and Deli has its original location in Grant Park, at 568 Boulevard SE.
