The Barrelhouse is rolling out of Midtown Wednesday, June 27.
The gastropub, at 22 5th St NW suite B, has been in business for seven years.
But The Barrelhouse isn’t going away for good.
The concept will return later this year at a yet-to-be-disclosed location, according to the company’s Facebook Monday.
“While we will be closing our doors at our current location, we have the opportunity now to be part of a neighborhood that we are beyond thrilled about,” according to the social media post.
“We are incredibly thankful for the past seven years we’ve spent in Midtown with Georgia Tech, but we feel now is the perfect time for a change.”
Details are scarce.
Representatives for The Barrelhouse did not immediately return What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
“Stay tuned for all the details as we gear up to make our way to our new home this fall. Thank you to all our customers for your support, and we’ll see you soon!”

Seems like a good venue for it.
Has Atomic Entertainment done any actual work on those historic buildings?
They’ve had the place since 2017 and it seems like they’re more focused on pop-up events.
You obviously haven’t walked, run or biked by the Pullman-Pratt yard
You’re right, I’ve only seen it from Dekalb Ave.
You should do an article on the god-awful customer service by the Fever company that sells the tickets to this event. Hundreds of BBB complaints and yes I have my own personal gripe. Still hoping I can attend this event but most likely I got taken for a hundred bucks.
This looks so cool!
