The restaurant, at 2355 Mansell Road, replaces Galeto Brazilian Steakhouse.

Passador, which means “meat server” in Portuguese, offers a Brazilian steakhouse experience with passadores coming to tables with skewers of meats and carving pieces onto plates as guests make their selections.

Passador is owned by brothers and business partners Nelcir and Marcio Muller who have more than 40 years of collective experience working in Brazilian steakhouses. Nelcir was most recently at Chama Gaucha in Buckhead, and Marcio comes to Passador from Chama Gaucha’s Chicago location.

“We are excited to be a part of the thriving restaurant and business scene in Alpharetta,” Nelcir Muller said in the release. “Our menu will offer authentic Brazilian steakhouse dishes featuring high-quality meats executed with amazing service.”

In addition to its meats, Passador Brazilian Steakhouse offers a salad bar featuring more than 30 items including cheeses, vegetables, and a variety of house-made salads to begin the dining experience.

Upon returning to the table, guests are invited to turn over a red disk to reveal a green side. This token notifies the passadores to begin the churrascaria experience and offer succulent cuts of meat. With chicken, lamb, pork and beef, guests will be served to their heart’s content. Along with meat, side dishes are replenished throughout the meal. Guests should return to the red side to pause the continuous service.

The restaurant will be open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch is priced at $28.50 and $18.50 for the salad bar only. Dinner is served Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with Sunday brunch served 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Dinner and Sunday brunch are priced at $42.50 and $24.50 for the salad bar only. Beverages, desserts, and gratuity are not included.
