With two branches in Savannah and another at Centennial Park in downtown Atlanta, Summerhill marks CPCU’s fourth location since the Atlanta Postal Credit Union (APCU) spun off its consumer-facing brand last year.
“We are thrilled to bring Center Parc Credit Union to the Summerhill community,” Andrea Hansberry, community development liaison for CPCU, said in the release. “Center Parc will offer great service and financial stability with a goal to engage students, faculty, and staff at GSU, and the Summerhill community at large,” she said.
Located in a 1,400 square-foot retail space, at 72 Georgia Avenue SE, the Summerhill branch offers a full suite of financial services, including a 24-hour ATM, value checking, low rates on credit cards, auto and home loans. In addition to weekday hours from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Summerhill branch is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Established by a post office employee to help improve the financial well-being of postal workers in Georgia, APCU was chartered in 1925 as a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, built on the premise that working people need a safe and sound place to save and borrow money. It is now the largest postal affiliated credit union in the country serving more than 100,000 members nationwide. CPCU is its consumer-facing brand.

This place looks like sh;t. I wouldn’t call cheap apartments “revitalizing” anything. “Stunning views of I-20” make the architectural abomination even less interesting.
