Slater Hospitality, the group behind The Roof at Ponce City Market, has opened its newest concept, 12 Cocktail and Social Club, in the mixed-use development’s Tower.
12 Cocktail and Social Club is in a space situated above RFD Social which is also owned and operated by Slater.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring this experience to Atlanta; it’s completely different from anything the city has seen,” Mandy Slater, co-founder of Slater Hospitality, said in a prepared statement.
“Our team has been traveling to cocktail bars and clubs across the U.S. and abroad gathering inspiration from the best in the world. We just want as many people as possible to enjoy this truly unique experience on The Roof, with the best bird’s eye view of Atlanta.”
Randy Hayden, beverage director for The Roof, developed and procured 12’s cocktail program and spirits selection, including “hard-to-find” spirits, classic cocktails, and its own nightly-changing creations.
12 Cocktail and Social Club also offers a small plate menu developed by Executive Chef Jonathan McDowell, who previously worked at Michelin star-rated French restaurant Patina in downtown Los Angeles and has been with Slater Hospitality at 9 Mile Station for the last three years.
Menu items include goat cheese-stuffed peppadews and apricots, shrimp cocktail and foie gras pâté.
Memberships, including an initiation fee and annual dues, are $2,000.
Member benefits include club use without paying a deposit, complimentary access to The Roof and its events, preferred reservations at 9 Mile Station, monthly curated food and cocktail tastings, preferred meeting and event pricing, and the ability to bring up to three guests per visit.
All guests must adhere to a dress code prohibiting athletic wear, baseball hats and open-toed shoes for men.
For non-members, a $50 per person minimum spend deposit is required to make a reservation for up to four guests.
12 Cocktail and Social Club is open 5 p.m. until 12 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
It is closed on Sundays.
