Two liquor license permits were recently filed in Atlanta for the new wine shop, along with a “Lions Head” bar. A spokesperson for True Story Brands, the parent company of Yebo, confirmed the expansion in an email.

“We plan to retail our private label wines, as well as a handful of South African speciality wines that are typically not available to the general public,” the spokesperson said.

Yebo is a concept from Justin Anthony, a native of Johannesburg. His company True Story Brands also operates 10 Degrees South in Buckhead and Biltong Bar in Ponce City Market.

Anthony has been involved in winemaking for many years and was a co-founder of the King of Clubs wine, a collaboration with wine maker Robert Mondavi Jr. and Christopher R. King.
