10 Degrees South at 4183 Roswell Road NE had been in business since 1998. The 4,000-square-foot space has seating for 150 guests and includes a 15-seat bar and heated outdoor seating area. The restaurant was a fusion of flavors from “Mediterranean, Malaysian, Portuguese, French, German, Dutch and Indian cuisine.”

The hospitality company owned by Faven Ressom and Mable Abraham, the team behind Whisky Mistress and One Street Over, bought the restaurant, according to Atlanta Business Chronicle.

“Things are definitely still in the works for it,” Ressom said when reached by What Now Atlanta.

Steve Josovitz of Atlanta-based real estate company The Shumacher Group facilitated the transaction. According to the listing, 10 Degrees South reached $3,500,000 in sales.

Owner Justin Anthony listed the restaurant for sale in November. Anthony is the founder of the hospitality group True Story Brands, which is behind several other concepts in metro Atlanta, including Yebo Beach Haus, The Cape Restaurant and Beach Bar and Biltong Bar.

It was time to sell the restaurant because Anthony’s parents, who he ran the restaurant with for 25 years, were ready to retire, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.
