The grammy-winning R&B superstar is teaming up with Lawrence Kourie and Andrew Feghali to invest in Dave’s Hot Chicken.

“Dave’s Hot Chicken is some of the best hot chicken I’ve ever had,” Usher said in the announcement. “I’m excited to be involved with the brand, and bring Dave’s delicious tenders and sliders to people across Atlanta.”

Feghali and Kourie are part of the chicken chain’s original franchise group, which is slated to bring several locations to Georgia. The first one is expected in Conyers at a former Krystal restaurant.

Dave’s Hot Chicken was founded in 2017 by Arman OganesyanDave Kopushyan and Tommy and Gary Rubenyan. It began as a pop-up in an East Hollywood parking lot.

The menu includes chicken tenders and sliders with a range of heat levels, from “No Spice” to “Reaper.” Sides include seaoned fries, kale slaw and mac and cheese. Cauliflower sliders and cauliflower bites were also recently added to the menu.
