The store will be located at 4805 Lawrenceville Highway, northeast of Atlanta. The space will be 1,360 square feet, according to construction plans. Owner Steven Turner said they expect to open early next year, possibly in March.

In addition to smoothies, the menu of Tropical Smoothie Cafe includes sandwiches, salads and wraps.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a rapidly growing franchise with more than 1,335 locations in 44 states. And more stores are on the horizon; the company announced this fall that 77 new franchise agreements were signed in Q3 2023.

What Now Atlanta reported earlier that a location is also planned for the Summerhill neighborhood on Hank Aaron Drive.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe began in 1997, and the first franchise location opened in Tallahassee in 1998.
