There Gastropub on Thursday was listed for sale through The Shumacher Group. The “open-and-operating business,” at 305 Brookhaven Ave, is housed in the Town Brookhaven development.
Owner Bill Brown is looking to sell the 2,500 square-foot restaurant for $225,000, according to the listing. A new owner could keep the There Gastropub brand or convert the space to something new. There’s also the potential for a new owner to lease the adjacent 1,700 square-foot space and open something larger.
Brown has owned the restaurant since 2011, according to the listing. Average gross sales in 2021 have been $60,000 per month and the business is expected to rake in a net profit of $60,000.
Rent for the space — which has seating for 34 in the dining room, 12 outdoor, and 18 at the bar — is $7,100 per month “all in.” The remaining lease term was not disclosed.
Brown is looking to sell There Gastropub to focus on his other restaurant, There on Fifth, in the heart of the Georgia Tech campus, Steve Josovitz, the broker who holds the listing, on Thursday told What Now Atlanta.
