“The Food Hall would likely be named ‘The Southern Feedstore,'” Pellerin writes in a newly-published real estate listing for the East Atlanta Village restaurant space.

“The name reflects the heritage of the building which was occupied by The Southern Feedstore from approximately 1927 until the 1940s.”

The Southern Feedstore would include up to seven food stalls that would operate independently, according to the March 26 listing.

The expected delivery for The Southern Feedstore would be in-late 2020, early-2021.

“We are seeking to work with the best Atlanta Brands who understand the local character unique to East Atlanta Village.”

Situated at 1245 Glenwood Ave. SE, the 100-year-old building for 18 years has been home to The Graveyard Tavern which closed in February.

The building is shared with The Basement, a still-operating events space directly below where Graveyard was housed.

As an alternative to The Southern Feedstore, Pellerin is entertaining a single restaurant tenant for the 5,900-square-foot space which includes a fully equipped kitchen and bar plus seating for a permitted occupancy of 192.
