The Juicy Crab will open in Hiram in place of the former Folks Southern Kitchen at 5096 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway. Bill Read of Retail Specialist LLC. represented the landlord as the exclusive leasing agent for the property. The Juicy Crab will inhabit a 5,000 sq. ft. space. What Now Atlanta was unable to confirm an opening.
The first Juicy Crab was opened in Duluth in 2015 based on inspiration from the Chen family patriarch Grandfather Chen, a sailor who traveled the world learning different ways to cook seafood. When he came across New Orleans’ style of cooking seafood, he fell in love. The seafood restaurant, which serves both boiled and fried seafood options along with sides and desserts, is known for its special seafood and crab seasoning that will “Catch you back… and back again!”
