Atlanta-based interior design firm The Drawing Room has opened its first showroom. It is situated in Buckhead Village — formerly The Shops Buckhead Atlanta — and features a collection of vintage, one-of-a-kind furniture and art hand-selected by The Drawing Room designers and founders, Daniel Zimmerman and Seth van den Bergh.

The Drawing Room’s new 1,200-square-foot showroom and gallery boasts the TDR Collection, the firm’s private collection of “unique and vintage pieces curated from across the globe.” The showroom will also serve as an office and meeting space for the team to consult with a variety of clients, both those interested in one-on-one styling and design and those who would like to drop by and browse the gallery.
Daniel, the “classic,” spent his early studies in finance and “brings a passion for value and deeper-meaning to each project,” according to a press release. Seth, the “dreamer,” spent years traveling and studying abroad, and “brings a sense of bold exploration to the team.”
ZImmerman and Van Den Bergh believe there is no “one size fits all” process when it comes to interior design. “We aim to create the wellspring from which an entire lifestyle is formed,” Van den Bergh said. “The result is both storied and timeless – and a model of where we’d like to lead contemporary design in Atlanta.”
The Drawing Room is open for walk-ins Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., or by appointment.
Buckhead Village was recently acquired by Ponce City Market Developer Jamestown. The firm has been leasing space in the posh open-air center to many unconditional uses including pop-up shops — the most recent being floral design studio Pinker Times.
