The Daily, a concept new to Atlanta but already well-established in Charleston, celebrates its grand-opening in West Midtown at 763 Trabert Avenue NW today, January 19th. From the owners behind Butcher & Bee and Redheaded Stranger, The Daily brings a community-minded coffeehouse experience to Atlanta. Already walking the talk, The Daily is celebrating its opening by donating $1 from every purchased coffee/espresso drink to Free99 Fridge.

Atlanta natives Michael and Melody Shemtov opened The Daily’s first location eight years ago. With a “killer Onyx coffee program,” a food menu that highlights modern American staples blended with Middle Eastern flavors, and a pantry of Southern favorites, The Daily aims to continue evolving as it grows its brand. The pantry boasts items like New Creations Soda, Doux South Drunken Mustard, and Caja Popcorn, just to name a few.

Speaking of growth.

In December, What Now Atlanta shared news of the Shemtovs taking over a space at 100 Hurt St. NE in Inman Park, and we’re pleased to confirm, per a press release, that the site will house a location of The Daily expected to open by the end of summer 2022.

Even better, here’s some news we love to share. The Daily is already planning its third Atlanta-area location, which will open in Buckhead on Northside Drive. The Buckhead location will be a ground-up build and further details have not yet been released. This one is slated for 2023.

With weekend hours to come later, you can visit The Daily West Midtown Monday-Friday from 7:30AM to 3PM, or find the coffeehouse online to learn more.
