Serving multiple neighborhoods in Atlanta is part of the vision for The Daily’s expansion to the city. Inman Park will be the second location to open of the three the group has announced thus far. The first location, on Trabert Avenue in West Midtown, just celebrated its one year anniversary, while the third location is breaking ground now off of Northside Drive in Buckhead.
Both The Shemtovs and Hunter have ties to Atlanta and are excited to continue to grow in the city and engage with the city’s culinary community. “We are very intentional about creating a positive impact in our community, by investing in small businesses, our teams, and our neighborhoods. One year into being open in Atlanta, we’ve already built meaningful relationships with the farmers, ranchers, and artisans who produce our milk, eggs, and tortillas,” says Hunter in a statement.
Like each previous restaurant opening, the team is excited to connect with a local organization to partner with. For the Inman Park opening they are excited to support The Inman Park Neighborhood Association. $1 per espresso drink sold during opening will be donated to the association. “Inman Park is a neighborhood I have long known and loved. Prior to living in Charleston, Michael & I lived in Cabbagetown, across the tracks from this location. Our partner Jacob lives in Inman Park now, and we know this neighborhood has a great sense of pride and community. This opening feels personal, feels like coming home,” says Melody Shemtov.
The Daily offers a variety of dishes inspired by the southern pantry and by flavors of the Middle East. From breakfast food to lunch to afternoon snacks, and plenty of coffee offerings in between, The Daily menu is seasonally driven with a focus on sustainability and flavor. Not to be missed items on The Daily’s made-to-order menu include avocado toast, breakfast burritos, veggie pitas, smoothies and seasonal lattes.
“Perhaps the most exciting thing about this location, for the team and patrons, is the in house bakery that will produce sourdough breads and pastries for all Atlanta Daily locations,” says Hunter. “While the focus of the bakery is producing for the Daily, the shop will sell loaves of bread as well and will grow to serve wholesale customers and markets,” continues Hunter.
The Daily Inman Park is located at 100 Hurt St NE Atlanta, GA 30307 and will be open Seven days a week. 7am-3pm.
