According to a recent building permit application with the City of Atlanta, a project called “OLe’G Tacos and Tequila” is proposed for 2358 Cascade Road. The space, formerly a bank, is 3,733 square feet, according to the application.

What Now Atlanta reported in 2019 that the couple was considering the concept. The idea at the time was that the restaurant would be a Mexican food spin-off of the Southern comfort food eatery Old Lady Gang, which the couple opened several years ago in Castleberry Hill.

In addition to Old Lady Gang, the couple owns Blaze Steak and Seafood, a steakhouse on Cascade Road, the same street on which the new taco concept is proposed.

Fans may know songwriter and businesswoman Kandi Burruss-Tucker from The Real Housewives of Atlanta and the spin-off Kandi & The Gang. She announced her departure from The Real Housewives earlier this year.

When reached by What Now Atlanta, Todd Tucker said only that the taco restaurant is expected to open “soon, this year.”
