While details of the new business remain under wraps, the restaurant will be “coming soon,” according to Instagram.

“Get ready for class redefined: food, drinks and much more,” the post went on to say.

A website has also been created for Slush Atlanta with fruit drinks appearing to be a highlight of the new spot.

Walter Jordan of The DWRC Group and Kenya Amos of BQE teamed up to bring Slush to Atlanta.

“Get ready for class redefined: food, drinks, and much more,” he said in an email to What Now Atlanta. “We are a full-service restaurant that will be open seven days a week with craft cocktail, 10 different frozen drinks, cocktails on draft, local beers on draft as well as wine on draft.”

Jordan envisions Slush creating a different dining culture in the Old 4th Ward-area.

“We want guests to sit back and truly unwind in an amazing atmosphere while sharing different dishes from across the world,” Jordan added.

Slush will also be the “first” restaurant in the state to use a new infiltration UV system in its air conditioning units approved by the Centers for Disease Control to kill COVID-19 and other viruses, Jordan explained.

“We went through great measures to make sure our guests will be comfortable and completely safe from COVID,” he added. “We have automatic thermometer reader and sanitizer stations throughout the restaurant and sanitize mats when people walk in.”

He said the grand opening will be the first week of April.

In applications filed with the city, the restaurant applied for beer, wine and liquor licenses.

Slush will reportedly have a full-service commercial kitchen and a full-service restaurant.
