Scope The Menu For Asian POP, a To-Go Only Eatery Now Open Inside Mission + Market

Pop-up will afford Executive Chef Ian Winslade the opportunity to test ideas before securing any leases for 'future projects' amid the pandemic.

Buckhead’s Mission + Market has opened a to-go-only pop-up inside the eatery called Asian POP. Executive Chef Ian Winslade is behind the new restaurant-within-a-restaurant, serving “fresh flavors with Chinese and Thai influences” with a “budget-friendly” price point of $3 to $15.

Winslade, who is also a partner in Mission + Market, is using the pop-up inside the restaurant to experiment and test recipes.

“Before COVID hit, we were looking at opening new concepts and actively reviewing locations for future projects,” Winslade said in a prepared statement. “While those ideas have been put on hold temporarily, this is a moment in time where all rules are off. Right now, we have the perfect opportunity to innovate and do things differently while navigating COVID curveballs. I’m passionate about this cuisine and these flavor profiles, as they always have provided comfort to me…and who doesn’t need a little comfort right now.”

Asian POP will operate Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Scope the menu below or click here to download a high-res copy.
