Salt Factory Pub, the popular gastropub that originated in Roswell, is expanding to Reynoldstown’s Madison Yards, according to a permit filed with the City of Atlanta. The permit is for the interior build-out of Suite 512 at 905 Memorial Drive, and the estimated cost of construction is $1,250,000.00

Owned by F&H Food Trading Group, Salt Factory currently has three locations, but partner Hicham Azhari tells Atlanta Business Chronicle that may soon change. In addition to adding the Reynoldstown eatery, F&H Food Trading Group is considering Westside and Sandy Springs as the next possible areas for expansion. The group also intends to franchise the brand.

Salt Factory debuted in 2008, and since then has become popular for its modern, approachable cuisine. Indeed, Salt Factory is modeled after the pubs of the English countryside, and along with organically-derived ingredients and classic comfort dishes, the pub offers more than 50 different draft and bottled brews.

Requests for comment from Azhari were unreturned at the time of publication, but he tells ABC the Reynoldstown restaurant will likely take around six months to get fully operational. The permit describes renovations as “new partitions and finishes, exhaust for kitchen hood, and exterior canopy over existing patio.” It’s unclear if there is room for another bocce ball court, but it’s hard to not get excited about outdoor seating these days!
