Rumi’s Kitchen Colony Square will be the first location inside the perimeter (ITP) for the growing restaurant brand which also has an outpost planned for Houston, TX, according to its website. The company pivoted to an online marketplace at the height of the pandemic but is showing no signs of slowing in expanding its footprint across the country.

The Midtown Atlanta location will offer a collection of familiar eats served at its restaurants in Sandy Springs and Avalon; however, 40 percent of its menu has been curated specifically for the surrounding neighborhood by Chef Ali Mesghali, the spokesperson said.

For example, a vegetable section has been added and features Middle Eastern dishes that can be ordered as shareable starters or individual entrées. Beverage Director Julian Goglia has also created a brand-new cocktail list with takes on some of the restaurant’s most popular drinks and several new creations made with a Persian twist.

The 5,000 square-foot restaurant was designed by the Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry and features a 1,500 square-foot outdoor patio. It is also the second Rumi’s in North American Properties’ portfolio.

Rumi’s Kitchen Colony Square will be open for lunch Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., and dinner Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
