This will be the eighth location of the authentic Mexican street food concept from owners Damian Otero and Miguel Hernandez. Rreal Tacos can currently be found in Midtown, West Midtown, Chamblee, Sandy Springs, Cumming, Sugar Hill and Buckhead.

“We are thrilled to join the vibrant Decatur community,” Otero said. “The energy here is contagious, and this new location reflects our dedication to sharing our brand with more people in Atlanta.”

The space was formerly occupied by Ponko Chicken. The location is another example of Rreal Tacos’ second-generation space acquisition strategy. The brand’s recent location in Buckhead took over the space of a former Farm Burger, the Sugar Hill location used to be Cantina Loca, and the Cumming restaurant took over the space of Cheeky Taqueria.

Rreal Tacos specializes in authentic Mexican cuisine. The menu includes a variety of tacos, including grilled chicken, al pastor, beef barbacoa and pork carnitas, along with burritos, bowls, nachos, quesadillas, margaritas and more.
