Local franchisees Jason S. Burr, JoAnn Ribaudo and Michael Hartshorn recently announced they are scouting locations for three more restaurants. Target areas include Cumming, Sugar Hill/Suwanee, Buford and Lawrenceville.
“While our Alpharetta location is selected and ready to open in November, the remaining locations have yet to be identified,” Burr said in an email to What Now Atlanta. “Our plan is to open one additional store next year and two in 2024 … With our territory being Gwinnett and Hall counties (along with the 400 corridor), we feel that we could grow further in the future.”
The franchise team’s Alpharetta location will open in November at 5530 Windward Parkway, suite C300. They also own a Rock N Roll Sushi in Duluth, which opened in September.
“Duluth has been eye-opening in terms of how the standard Rock N Roll Sushi model can adapt in a downtown environment,” Burr said in a press release. “Now we can’t wait to introduce this one-of-a-kind brand to more communities across the state. Not only are guests digging our amazing food, but the atmosphere is unlike any other sushi restaurant they’ve ever seen. It’s a winning model that we’re eager to expand.”
Rock N Roll Sushi was founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife team Lance and Gerri Mach Hallmark in Mobile, Ala. Today, it has more than 50 locations, mostly across the Southeast. Some of the menu highlights include crispy wontons and a punk rock roll.
