Project will join The George in bookending Daddy D’z BBQ Joynt.
A new residential development which will join The George in bookending Daddy D’z BBQ Joynt recently broke ground in Southeast Atlanta.
San Diego-based Fairfield Residential is developing the four-story, 325-unit market rate apartment complex located at 290 Martin Luther King Jr Drive SE.
Tommy Brunson, Southeastern Region Vice President, told What Now Atlanta Tuesday that despite the project’s being called “Grant Park Apartments” in permits, the development does not have a name as of yet.
The project would include a main pool courtyard, a secondary lap pool courtyard, and a third “serenity garden” with a bocce court.
Interior amenities planned for the property include a summer kitchen, fitness center, gaming room, business center and clubroom.
The first units are planned to open in the first quarter of 2018.

This looks to be in a good spot for GSU students. With the new development at underground, new walgreen’s, new arby’s, new microsoft tech center in the flatiron, etc…. this area looks like it’s on the rise!
