More “swirly goodness.” Just what Atlanta can’t get enough of.

Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt, said to be Hollywood’s favorite yogurt joint, will open its third Georgia location on March 4, 2011, according to a company spokesperson.

The new store will be located at 3637 Peachtree Road Northeast in Buckhead Triangle, next to CVS and Borders. Pinkberry will open in the former Marble Slab location and construction began on the space earlier this month.

Pinkberry currently has locations in Georgia at Akers Mill on Cobb Parkway SE and Merchants Walk on Johnson Ferry Road.

The newest Atlanta-area location will be will be serving Pinkberry’s six distinctive flavors: the signature Original flavor. Pomegranate, Coconut, Chocolate and Mango.

The shop will also offer a seasonal, featured flavor, such as Blood Orange, paired with blood orange pieces, blood orange purée and a waffle cookie.

Pinkberry also offers Fruit Parfaits, Smoothies, and Fruit Bowls as well as “Pinkberry Take Home,” 25 ounces of Pinkberry, swirled-to-order and packed on ice.

Pinkberry launchged in Los Angeles in 2005. The company maintains more than 100 sites in the United States and 30 abroad and though many yogurt restaurants are changing to a self-serve model, Pinkberry remains full-service.

  1. Pinkberry is the Shane’s of fro-yo. Take the most pedestrian concept in LA and NY and bring it to ATL and it will be like the 2nd coming.

  2. Marble Slab’s days were numbered. We were consistently disappointed every time we went. One time we went, they had run out of waffle cones and apparently could not make more, either due to a lack of materiel or expertise. Other times they were short on flavors. Every time we went they were deficient in attitude and customer service. No surprise they’re gone.
