Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy is planned for 2790 Cumberland Blvd SE. The office will be at a retail complex called the Cumberland Crossing Shopping Center, in between Elite Beauty Supply and Custom Care Dry Cleaner.

Construction documents detail plans for the “interior buildout of an existing suite in an existing building for a physical therapy practice.” The scope of work on the nearly 3,300-square-foot space includes new restrooms, walls, doors and more, according to the plans.

Team Rehabilitation began in Michigan, with the first clinic opening in Farmington Hills in 2001. The company now has 132 clinics across Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Georgia, with 25 in the Peach State. According to the company website, their mission is “to provide the best outpatient physical and occupational therapy. We want our patients to enjoy therapy and experience clear improvements in their health.”

Atlanta-based Vickers Design Group is the architecture and design team behind the new Smyrna location, according to the construction documents. The firm has designed other Team Rehabilitation locations, including one in Roswell.
